Rick
Rick
Rick started at Harley’s in July 1981, shortly after graduating from High School. Rick has spent his career learning all things HVAC and serving the Lincoln community. He earned his Master Mechanical License in April 1990 and has maintained this certification ever since. Other certifications and trainings Rick has completed include NATE, ACCA Duct Design, ACCA Manual J Load Design, ACCA Manual S System Design, Energy Star Construction, and the International Ground Source Heat Pump Geothermal Piping Design and Fusion. Rick has been an active member in the HVAC community in Lincoln. He is a current member of the Realtors Association of Lincoln, the Home Builders Association, and is a past board member of the Lincoln Heating Association. In April 2012, Rick and his wife purchased Harley’s Heating and Air and continue to run and operate it. In his free time, he enjoys fishing and spending time with his wife, kids, and their dog, Mosley.

Kim
Kim started at Harley’s in May 2002. Prior to joining the team at Harley’s, she spent several years working for Lincoln Public Schools. Kim works in the office at Harley’s and focuses on the accounting and bookkeeping, as well as assisting with scheduling appointments. In April 2012, Kim and her husband purchased Harley’s Heating and Air and they continue to operate it to this day. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband, kids, and their dog, Mosley.

Brian joined the Harley’s team in March of 2010. Prior to him joining the Harley’s team, he had spent 18 years working for HVAC companies in Central Nebraska. Brian attends several training courses and seminars a year and has earned multiple certifications, including the Universal EPA, Factory Trained Technician for Residential Forced Air Equipment, and NATE. He currently holds an apprentice license from the state of Nebraska while he studies for his Journeymen’s license. In his free time, Brian enjoys playing blue grass music and spending time with his wife and their dog, Mia.
Randy
Randy
Randy joined the Harley’s team in March of 2019 shortly after completing his A.A.S in HVAC/R. Randy attended school at Southeast Community College in Milford, NE and graduated in December 2018. He currently holds his EPA Universal Certification and an apprentice license from the state of Nebraska. Randy speaks fluent Vietnamese and helps the team at Harley’s better provide services to the Lincoln community. In his free time, Randy enjoys attending live music events and spending time with his family and friends.

Brent joined the Harley’s team in July 2019. Prior to joining the team, Brent served in many Customer Service positions. Brent focuses on scheduling appointments and relaying information to the service and install technicians. Brent speaks Spanish and is happy to help assist customers. In his free time, Brent is an accomplished artist and his work is shown around town.

I happen to know the owners and family. They are the most caring and accommodating bunch of great people! You have a problem…they will help you however they can! They really love what they do and it shows! I would highly recommend them due to the fact that they care about their customers and will help anyone however they can!
I was able to get a cancellation and get helped right away. Brian was knowledgeable and got to diagnosing right away and resolved the issue quickly and also found another unknown issue with the system and fixed it. He was very professional and helpful.
First I’d like to mention whoever called me initially to change my appointment but then figured out how to send someone out last minute is an absolute god send and so appreciated. If I could give Randy 10 stars I would. He was very pleasant and professional! He didn’t make me feel dumb for not knowing something. He explained what he was doing and helped me sign up for their routine visits to prevent the issue from happening again! I can’t thank this team enough! They will be highly recommended by me to everyone I know!
Excellent service, on the weekend too! Woke up to my house at 58° on a Saturday morning and called Harley’s, they showed up and had my heater working within 3 hours from my call! The communication from Harley’s is very good. I received a breakdown on the phone of fees and when I could expect my service technician, a short time later I received a text telling me my technician was on the way with a photo of who I could expect to see at my door. Mr. Shortridge was very nice and informative telling me what he was seeing and how he was going to fix the issue. Now my heater is up and working and I’m able to move around the house without full winter gear on.
Amazing. Fast service and super reasonable pricing. Best in town! They accommodated us last minute when the heat went out in freezing temperatures. Brian does an amazing job explaining everything and getting at the root cause. Harley’s was a life saver today!
We have had a service contract with Harley’s for 18 years and they continue to take excellent care of us. They are always responsive and address problems quickly. They also suggest changes that would keep our geothermal system running well for years to come. Brian has done most of our service work over the years and he is the best.
Needed a new motor for my furnace right before the winter storm hit. Called shortly before closing and was still able to get help that day. The new motor was installed and now it is nice and warm. Thank you Brian for the friendly and efficient service!
